THE DART BOARD
Take a lottery entry form and pin it to the dart board. This form will soon have holes in it, so keep a separate form on which to enter your numbers.
Throw darts at the ticket until enough holes have been made convincingly close to actual numbers and not inbetween.
Star quality: The pseudo-sadistic nature of the method.
Drawbacks: Difficulty of deciding whether to count some holes or not.
Also, the danger of getting over excited and missing the board altogether, leaving memorable holes in the wallpaper.
